Former Inter Milan striker Diego Milito says Mauro Icardi has only himself to blame for his rift with fans.
A passage in his autobiography has him threatening to have “hooligans from Argentina" come over and “kill them where they stand".
“It was a totally unnecessary comment," Icardi sighed, speaking on Radio Guemes.
“It was an inappropriate comment that put him in conflict with the fans. It's not useful for anyone.
“It was a very strong comment which is of benefit to no-one. This kind of behaviour isn't helpful."
